SPOT returns to Switzerland

After a very successful SPOT Festival last month, SPOT on Denmark tirelessly continues its mission to bring Danish music to the world! Prime indie comebacks Figurines, disco-pop extravaganza Vinnie Who and must-see electro-punks of the moment Reptile & Retard will be performing at the famous Montreux Jazz Festival as part of the annual SPOT on Denmark night.

The three acts were selected by a jury of Swiss media – including 20 Minuten, Toxic FM, Rockstar Magazine and Lautstark – that attended this year’s SPOT Festival. In the framework of the interactive SPOT platform a networking event will be held prior to the evening shows in order to strengthen the dialogue between the Swiss and Danish industries.

Figurines manager Jesper Brodersen observed: “SPOT on Denmark has been a really helpful collaboration in terms of motivating the Swiss partners and our European label. And I’m sure that playing a festival with this great name and reputation will have an impact in surrounding countries as well.”

SPOT on Denmark will be held at @ Montreux Jazz Café (Grand Rue 95, Montreux) on 9 July from 8pm.
